Connecting to YourChild’s ProgressApril 28, 2026

We know our Winnetka 36 families care deeply about staying informed and connected to their child’s growth. We are grateful for the many families who have already accessed their child’s information this year, and we want to ensure every family has that same opportunity.

Our goal is for 100% of families to log in to PowerSchool and Otus so that you have timely, meaningful insight into your child’s learning.

If you have not yet logged in, we’re here to help make that process simple and worthwhile.

Why This Matters Why This Matters

Families are important partners in student learning. Taking a few moments to access your child’s information provides valuable insight into their progress, growth, and experiences at school .

Both platforms are designed to give you a fuller picture of your child’s learning across the year, not just at a single moment in time.

Two Tools You’ll Use: PowerSchool + Otus Two Tools You’ll Use: PowerSchool + Otus

PowerSchool Parent Portal (K–8)

PowerSchool is your primary hub for important school information. In PowerSchool, you can:

  • View trimester progress reports
  • Access attendance information
  • See official documents and assessment reports, including publisher-generated reports
  • Complete required actions such as digital signatures

Otus (K–8)

Otus brings your child’s learning data together in one place. In Otus, you can:

  • View benchmark and classroom assessment data (MAP, aimswebPlus, mCLASS, SEL)
  • See growth over time
  • Access multiple data points in one dashboard

Otus is especially helpful for understanding trends and progress across the school year, rather than isolated results.
