As we enter the season of Thanksgiving, we are reminded of how much we have to be grateful for. We are thankful for our wonderful students and families and appreciate your continued partnership and support!

We are excited to recognize and celebrate all of our students who achieved 100% attendance! These students received certificates in recognition of their commitment to coming to school every day. Thank you, families, for helping make regular school attendance a priority. Every day of learning counts!

Our annual Turkey Trot will take place on Saturday, November 14th.

We look forward to a fun-filled event celebrating movement, community, and school spirit. We hope to see you there!

Daylight Saving Time ends on Sunday, November 1. Remember to turn your clocks back one hour! While we get an extra hour of sleep, the time change can sometimes be an adjustment for our little ones.

Here are a few simple ways to help children adjust:

Keep a consistent bedtime: Maintain familiar bedtime routines to help children feel secure.
Adjust gradually: If possible, shift bedtime and wake-up time by 10–15 minutes over a few days.
Get outside: Morning sunlight and outdoor play can help reset little bodies' internal clocks.
Be patient: Some children may feel a little extra tired or need time to adjust. A little flexibility goes a long way!

As we head into November, let's continue to celebrate the little moments, show kindness, and find reasons to be thankful each day.

Important Health Reminder

Our school nurses have been reaching out to families to ensure all students have up-to-date medical records. All students must have a current physical examination (completed within the past year) and updated immunization records on file.

If you have been contacted by our nursing staff, please work with them to ensure your child’s medical records are complete and meet school health requirements.

Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our APPLES community healthy and safe!

Medical Forms and Flu Shot Form

Please make sure the school has your child’s current physical, immunization records, and medication authorization form (if needed).

All preschool students must receive their flu vaccine by December 15, 2026. Students without required medical documentation, including the flu vaccine, cannot attend school.
