PPOS Appeals Process

PPOS AppealsProcess

Do I need to appeal? Do I need to appeal?

Each semester is split into 4 blocks (about 4 weeks each). At the end of a block, all assignments close, so if you have an NC in any class or you are not happy with your grade, you need to appeal to keep the work opened. It is important to remember the appeal only gives you one extra week. Also, don't forget, you will have additional work for the current Block, so be sure not to fall behind in the current block.

  • If you have an NC in a class, or you are not happy with your grade, you need to appeal that class.

Step 2: Accept the Invite

  • Your teacher will send EVERYONE an appeal invitation. (found in email and on your dashboard)
  • If you want to appeal, you will need to accept this invite.
  • If you don’t accept, you will not have access to make up the work. If you don't want to appeal you can decline the invite.

Step 3: Complete Assignments

  • Once you’ve accepted the appeal, you have one week to complete the assignments that are missing or that you want to redo.
  • You will also have additional work for the current Block, so be sure not to fall behind in the current block.
  • All appeal work will close at 4:00, the Friday after the block ends.

Important Notes Important Notes

  • Appeals apply only to the block that just closed.

  • Grades are updated after your work is submitted and graded.

  • You will also have additional work for the current Block, so be sure not to fall behind in the current block.
