2026 Credit Recovery Summer School

June 10 – July 21, 2026
Monday–Thursday, 7:30 AM – 12:45 PM

Courses Offered:
English Language Arts and Mathematics

Guidelines:

Students must be recommended by a school counselor, principal, and/or teacher.
Students who have not failed more than two subjects and attend the full 7-week session may be eligible for promotion (determined by the home school).
Students missing more than four days will be dropped and receive a failing grade. Three tardies/early dismissals equal one absence.
No student will be admitted after June 17, 2026.

Tuition: $300

Payment:

Due by May 22, 2026, to the student’s home school (cash or money order)
After May 22: Pay at Berkeley County Schools, 1453 Winchester Avenue, Martinsburg, WV 25405 (Attn: Dr. Tyler Long)

Refunds:

Program Structure:
Two separate terms (students earn ½ credit per term if successfully completed)

Guidelines:

Application deadline is May 22, 2026 (late applications considered if space is available).
Students should take first semester courses in Term 1 and second semester courses in Term 2.
Initial credit courses available only for Health, PE, and Driver Education.
Students missing more than two days per term will receive a failing grade. Three tardies/early dismissals equal one absence.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided daily.
Bus transportation will be available from designated hub locations below (no additional stops).

Students should assume acceptance and report on the first day of their program.

Transportation is available at the following hub locations. Pickup/dropoff times will be communicated closer to the start of summer school.
