Hey Coppell Choir Family,

We made it! Spring break is finally here! As we move into spring, the season of renewal and new beginnings we hope you use this time to recharge and reset for our final semester. There is still so much to look forward to as we finish out our year together. We hope you have a great break full of rest and time with family and friends. We cannot wait to see you back on the risers as we prepare for our Spring Concert and UIL.

The Coppell Community Chorale will award at least three (3) scholarships to undergraduate students who demonstrate appreciation for choral music through participation in school, church, and/or community choir.

• Two (2) awards will be made to students who intend to pursue an academic challenge in a discipline other than, or in addition to, music.

• One (1) award will be made to a student who intends to pursue music.

Note: Students who have performed with the Coppell Community Chorale will be given preference for this award

Applications will be accepted through Friday, March 28, 2025.

SRF Monthly Quizzes

You will take a monthly SRF quiz at the end of every month. This will be a Performance Tasks

Grade. You only get 2 tries so be sure that your wifi connection is good and your audio sound is

on. You have the entire month to take the quiz. Every month’s quiz will be due on the LAST

FRIDAY of the month at 10PM. NO LATE SUBMISSIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

SRF Month Quiz Due dates:

● 10/25/24 (Friday) @ 10PM

● 11/22/24 (Friday) @ 10PM

● 12/13/24 (Friday) @ 10PM

SRF Practice Log

Each singer is expected to practice sight reading on SRF for 10 minutes per week (2 minutes

each day of the week) and 40 minutes per month. This will be a completion grade. SRF will

keep track of all your practice log data. We will give one Performance Tasks monthly SRF

Practice Log each month. Please be sure to practice SRF weekly. Each week will start on SUNDAY and end on SATURDAY.
