Brockett Bulletin
Superintendent Communication: June 10, 2022
Congratulations Class of 2022!
Each year, on the day before graduation, seniors parade through their elementary schools and are cheered on by former teachers and younger students. The parade celebrates the graduates, but also helps the younger students envision their own futures!
Tomorrow night is the graduation ceremony, which will run from 7 to approximately 8:30-8:45 p.m.in Wortman Stadium. Gates open for families and attendees at 6 p.m.
If you would like to watch it live from home, tune in here.
Also, McMinnville Community Media (MCM) will re-run it at 10 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Saturday on cable TV channels and livestream. Replays will continue through next week. (Thank you, MCM!)
New Kindergarten Families!
Do you have an incoming kindergartner in the fall? Join current MSD kindergarten teachers for an overview of how to help your child be ready for school in September on Tuesday, June 14 at 6:30 p.m. at the Family Resource Center.

If you have a five-year-old and haven’t signed up yet for kindergarten, call your school to register!
Summer Meals
This summer, the MSD summer meals program begins June 27 and runs through August 25.

Duniway Service Days
Twice a year, Duniway sends its students out into the community to perform good works. This week, students pulled weeds, painted over graffiti, sorted warehouses, helped out in elementary classrooms, washed buses, spread bark dust in the parks, dusted, prepared plants for planting, cleared invasive species, and much more!
