Weekly Message Okma Campus

It was a bit of a long stretch to the end of 2023, but we made it! One of the reasons we administer midterms in December rather than in January at the end of the semester, is so that our students will truly relax and take advantage of this upcoming two-week vacation. Midterms help students close the school door and focus on family, friends and themselves during the break.

I hope all of you enjoy some relaxation over the next couple of weeks. Wishing you a safe and healthy New Year. We will see you in 2024!

Mr. DeZwaan applied for a grant for a book display to showcase history graphic novels in conjunction with a Beanstack Reading Challenge that ALL students are invited to participate in. Mr. DeZwaan has copies of the books in his classroom and there even more copies available in the school library for students. The book display is another step in cultivating a healthy reading culture here at IA.

THANK YOU very, very much for assembling it at the crack of dawn, Dr. Bailo!!
