- Monday, May 27 - Memorial Day Holiday - School is closed
- For students returning to school next week to remediate and retest an EOG, please see our schedule below. We will run a normal schedule with students entering the building at 7:10am and dismissal at 2:45pm. Breakfast and lunch will be served. Bus transportation will be provided.

- Saturday, June 1 - Please come to the BMS gymnasium from 9:45-12:00pm for the Pender County Long Term Recovery Expo. We will have all sorts of items for families in need. This event was a big success last year and we are hoping for an even bigger turnout this year.
- Parents & Families, if your child is planning to ride the school bus next year, please complete the ridership survey found here Student Ridership Survey for 2024-25 School Year. This survey will close on Friday, May 10, 2024.

- Parents & Families, if your child is interested in attending our Communities in Schools Summer Enrichment Camp, they can receive an application from Ms. Marinan or Mr. Alvin. The camp runs from July 8-25 8:00am-3:00pm Monday-Friday right here at BMS.
- Parents & Families, we have an exciting opportunity for our students! In conjunction with Cape Fear Community College (CFCC), our students are invited to attend the CFCC Career Academy this summer July 8-19, 2024 at the CFCC North Campus and the CFCC Downtown Campus. Families, we need your help ensuring students bring their Chromebooks to school each day. Also, we ask that non-essential electronics (Airpods and Beats headphones) be left at home. If your child has a lost or damaged Chromebook fee, please pay that fee as soon as possible.

School Hours: 7:30-2:45pm (students are tardy after 7:30am)
Students exit bus/car at 7:10am (buses utilize the back of school/cars utilize the front of school)
For the 2023-2024 school year breakfast and lunch will be provided, at no cost, to all students at our school

Here Comes the Bus will be available again this school year. Please remember that it is not accessible during the first few weeks of school. Schools will receive an email when Here Comes the Bus is available. Links to access information to distribute at open house is below:

For students who walk home from school - Students MUST have a walker form signed in order to walk home from campus. If you are new to BMS, or if you have not completed a walker form, please send a note with your child for them to walk home on the first day of school.
