The STAGS Weekly Scoop from Co-Principals, Mrs. Krauss & Mrs. Manfred!

We are so excited to host our annual Hallowfest this Friday! Doors will open at 5:30 PM, and no tickets will be needed this year to participate at the booths. This is a wonderful community event and allows you an opportunity to get to know the families in your child’s class.

To help ensure your child's safety and well being, please note this is not a drop off event, it is important to accompany your child/ren to Hallowfest. The only cost to families will be for food and drinks in the cafeteria. A friendly reminder that all purchases in the cafeteria will be cashless (tap to pay).

The turf project on our outside playfield is underway, and we are excited that this will allow our students an area to play on during the winter months for both physical education classes and recess. We will keep you abreast of our progress.

As winter approaches, may we soak in the splendor of fall and appreciate the wonder of the leaves falling off the trees and the array of colors displayed all around us. God is in all things, especially the beauty that unfolds in the change of seasons.

Hope to see you at our All Saints Mass this Thursday, at 9:30 AM, at St. Aloysius Church!

In gratitude,

Angie Krauss & Dawn Manfred

Co-Principals

Important Reminders from the Co-Principals

  • As we enter into colder weather, please be mindful to allow extra time in the parking lot for drop-off and pick-up. We appreciate you going slowly when you enter the lot and watching out for children as they cross the lot into the building. Also, please send your child with a jacket for recess and ensure they have appropriate shoes for recess and physical education.

  • Hallowfest begins at 5:30 PM on Friday and concludes at 7:30 PM. The only cost to families is for food and beverages in the cafeteria.

  • If you are interested in becoming a Parent Driver: There is a Catholic Mutual Group online defensive driving curriculum, titled "Be Smart – Drive Safe." This course is free of charge and can be found on the CMG Connect platform.

We can't wait to see our ELC, Montessori, and K-8 families come together for a fabulous night!

A few things to know before Friday!

  • Hallowfest is FREE!! No tickets, just FUN for all St. Al's families!

  • Food & Treats: Food, drinks, and cotton candy will be available for purchase in the cafeteria. All purchases are CASHLESS (cards only/tap to pay), so please plan ahead! The Knights of Columbus will also be handing out FREE popcorn and licorice! See menu and pricing below!

  • Costume Reminder: Costumes are encouraged at Hallowfest, but please remember that students should NOT wear costumes during the school day on Friday!

One Last Call for Hallowfest Help!

We are so grateful for all the families who have already donated and signed up to help! We're almost ready, but could still use a little extra help to make the night a success!

  • Hallowfest Sponsorships: Back by popular demand! You can EARN SERVICE HOURS FOR YOUR SPONSORSHIP! We need families and/or businesses to sponsor this awesome community event! See all the fun details below!
  • Volunteers: We still have opportunities available before, during, and after Hallowfest! Check Track it Forward to grab a spot and earn service hours.
  • Candy & Small Prizes: Our candy monsters could use one last feeding! Each family is asked to donate two bags of individually wrapped candy or packaged healthy treats. We're also collecting small prizes like Play-Doh, stickers, and fidget toys. Small prize donations are due to the main front desk by Wednesday, October 28. Remember to sign up through Track it Forward to receive service hours for prize donations!
  • Cake Walk Donations: With TWO cake walks, we need plenty of sweet treats! Mrs. Krauss and Mrs. Manfred will once again be judging the spookiest, silliest, and scariest creations!
