Spencer's Message; September 20th
Happy Sunday, Families!
We have had another great week at school, and I want to take a moment to share a few updates and celebrate some of the wonderful things happening on campus.
Picture Day is Tuesday!
Our students will have their school pictures taken on Tuesday. We are looking forward to capturing those smiles and creating memories that families can enjoy for years to come.
A Big Thank You for Friday
Friday brought an unexpected power outage, but I was so proud of how both our staff and students handled the situation. Everyone stayed calm, flexible, and positive while we worked through the unexpected change to our day. It was a great reminder of what a wonderful school community we have!
Great Things Are Happening in Our Classrooms
We are seeing so many great things happening in our classrooms each day. Our teachers are working hard to engage students, build strong relationships, and create learning experiences that help our students grow. It is exciting to see students learning, collaborating, asking questions, and taking pride in their work.
Thank You, Families!
I truly appreciate the support our families provide in making each school day a success. Your partnership makes a difference!
Thank you also for your patience and support as we have made changes to our walkers' dismissal procedures. We know changes can take some getting used to, and we appreciate everyone following the new procedures as we work to make dismissal smoother and safer for all of our students.
Parent Conferences
A reminder that there are no classes this Friday due to parent conferences.
If you have not already scheduled a conference with your child's teacher, please take a moment to do so. Conferences are a great opportunity to connect with your child's teacher, celebrate their progress, and talk about ways we can continue working together to support their success.
Thank you for being such an important part of our school community. We appreciate everything you do to support your children and our school. We are looking forward to another great week of learning!
Have a wonderful week!

Say Cheese! Picture Day is Tuesday!
Our school pictures will be taken by Life Touch Studio. Please contact the office if you wish to opt your child out of school pictures.
During picture time, students not taking a picture with Life Touch will come to the office to have their photo taken by office staff for the yearbook. (Please let Jennifer or Leslie in the office know if you do not want your child represented in the yearbook.)
A Note From Mrs. Moreno, AP
September is Attendance Awareness Month! We’re continuing to celebrate the importance of being at school every day, ready to learn and succeed. To keep the excitement going, our campus will be adding a few fun spirit days throughout the remainder of September. These special days are a fun way to encourage students to show up, participate, and celebrate being present! Every day counts, and we’re excited to celebrate great attendance together!

A Note About Safety from Mr. Love
Dear Rodriguez Families,
The safety of our students and families is our top priority. We want to address a growing concern regarding an increase in unsafe driving practices near our campus during drop-off and pick-up times.
To ensure the safety of all children and help drivers avoid traffic citations, please review and follow these key school zone driving rules:
- Watch Your Speed & Follow Signs: Obey all posted speed limits, stop signs, and traffic signals around campus.
- Buckle Up & Secure Child Seats: Ensure all passengers, especially young children, are properly buckled in seat belts or secured in age-appropriate car seats while the vehicle is in motion.
- Avoid Double Parking: Do not park alongside other vehicles or stop in driving lanes. NEVER ALLOW YOUR CHILD TO CROSS IN BETWEEN VEHICLES WAITING IN THE CARPOOL LANE. Double parking blocks traffic flow and creates dangerous visibility hazards for pedestrian traffic.
- No U-Turns in Crosswalks: Refrain from making U-turns in or near designated crosswalk areas.
- Eliminate Distracted Driving: Avoid using mobile phones or electronic devices while operating your vehicle in school zones.
Local law enforcement will be asked to assist us in enforcing traffic laws around the school throughout the school year. Please help us keep our school grounds safe for everyone by practicing safe driving habits every day. Thank you for your cooperation!
