Providence Hall High School
NOTE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
It’s Homecoming Week! Homecoming is all about coming together with students, staff, families, and alumni to celebrate what makes Providence Hall special. This spirit of unity reflects our focus this month on collaboration, one of the most powerful ways we live out our core value of Communicate.
As Helen Keller once said, “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.” From planning events to cheering in the stands, Homecoming Week is a reminder that our strength lies in listening, working together, and celebrating as one community.

PATRIOT SPOTLIGHT
AP Environmental Science Spotlight
Ms. Brown’s AP Environmental Science students recently created a closed aquatic and terrestrial ecosystem complete with fish, plants, and decomposers. The system is designed to sustain itself throughout the year with no outside interaction other than making observations. Students are super proud and excited about this hands-on project, and it’s a wonderful example of their curiosity and commitment to learning.

Students will take a pre- and post-test to track their growth and see where to focus their study time. Another session will be offered in January, but taking it now gives students plenty of time to prepare—and it’s a perfect fit for winter and spring athletes!
(Reminder) PSAT Sign-Ups Are Open!
Attention 10th and 11th graders—don’t miss your chance to take the PSAT! For juniors, this is the test that can qualify you for national scholarship competitions, and for sophomores, it’s great practice for the SAT & ACT.
