Welcome Back!

Dear St. Patrick School Families,

Welcome back! I hope your summer was a time of rest, joy, and blessings with your loved ones. Rejoice! It is now time to send them back to us! As we open the doors to a new school year, we are filled with excitement, joy and hope for all that lies ahead.

As always, we look forward to continuing our mission of nurturing each child’s Mind, Body, and Spirit in the Augustinian tradition. Together, we will foster a community where faith is lived daily, learning is embraced with enthusiasm, and friendship grow strong.

With God’s grace guiding our steps, I am confident that this will be another year of growth and shared accomplishments. Thank you for entrusting us with your children and for partnering with us in their education and faith formation.

It’s going to be a great year!

God bless,

Hernan Valdivia

Principal

Fall Festival Info!

Dear SPS Community,

As we begin planning this year’s Fall Festival (October 11th–12th), we’re reminded that for some of our wonderful families, this will be their last year at our school. While this is a natural part of the journey, it’s always bittersweet to say goodbye to families who’ve given so much to our community.

With that in mind, we’re looking for enthusiastic families who are interested in becoming more involved in the Fall Festival on an ongoing basis. This year, we’re especially looking for volunteers who would be willing to shadow current chairs with the goal of taking over in 2026 OR fulfilling the vacant chairs for this year. Shadowing is a great way to learn the ropes while supporting this year’s event!

Granny’s Attic Rummage Sale, shadow opportunity: Ideally two families to coordinate donation drop-offs the 4 weekends leading up to the festival, organize, price and set up/break down the space, and arrange for disposal of any leftover items. Opens at 8am on Saturday and 10:30am on Sunday.

Haunted House, *This chair is vacant this year*: think jump scares, fog machines, skeletons, witches, etc.

Kid Fun Zone, *This chair is vacant this year*: spray paint hair, paint nails, face painting, legos, etc.

Lead Canopy & Pop Up Tent and Signage, *This chair is vacant this year*: Instruct volunteers how and where to construct 2 white canopies and several new pop-up tents in the parking lot and hang banners/signs. Set up begins at Noon Oct 10th and breakdown begins at 6pm Oct 12th.

Lucky Charms: One co-chair needed to assist Vanessa Jimenez-Browne with pricing and selling second-hand jewelry, and setup/breakdown of this fun station.

School Store, *This chair is vacant this year*: Sell SPS merch inside the same classroom as Artisan Market.

Food Tent, shadow opportunity: Oversee purchasing product, and grilling of burgers, fries, pizza, etc. the majority of the weekend.

Interested in any of the above?! Please email Lynae at lwatkins@stpatricksd.org.
