All the music classes are great! The Vocal Power class learned about Vocal Wellness and how to safely produce a belt sound. Next, they started learning their Broadway/Hollywood musical songs. This unit focuses on stage movement while singing. Music 6 completed the Melody unit, which focused on playing melodies using iconic notation, playing xylophones, boomwhackers, and recorders as well as singing! For their final melody performance, their projects included playing violins, recorders, xylophones, boomwhackers, and singing. The Digital Music Class created songs using famous poems for lyrics. The Music Theater Workshop performed all of their scenes with accurate blocking and choreography!
