CCE Library Summer Information

Our fantabulous art teacher, Mrs. Weir, will be here for a "make and take" art activity while supplies last - come early!

*Children should be supervised by parent, guardian, or responsible sibling - thank you!

• The school is closed, but the library is open! One of our volunteers will let you in the main entrance (facing Ember Glen)
• There is construction and cleaning in the school, so please only visit the library
• Children must be accompanied by an adult or older responsible sibling (no drop offs)
• Younger & older siblings, former & future comets are welcome (yes Grizzlies & Warriors can check books out ;)
• PLEASE check the schedule as checkout times rotate to accommodate
• PLEASE check the CCE Library website for cancellations (in case of construction, etc)
• Books are checked out for 2 weeks at a time. We are flexible with summer checkouts due to traveling, etc., just remember other students might want to read them, too. Books can be returned first week of school if necessary.

If you are new to RRISD or have an incoming Kindergartener, we can create a summer parent account for you. Provide info in advance here, or we can create an account at checkout. We're excited to meet you!

Do you have a GMS or WHS student who loves the library and needs some volunteer hours? Or are you a parent who is comfortable with our library and already has a volunteer application on file from this past year (2021-2022)?
