Field Day 2025 (Important Update)

Thursday is our Annual Field Day K-2 and Water Play Day (preschool). It is forecasted to be hot and humid! We encourage all our friends to come to school with applied sunscreen, a full water bottle, and appropriate warm weather clothing. Let the games begin! (Reminder this event is for students only)

Davis Field Day Information

Annual Spring Family Picnic (Update)

You are invited to join us for a picnic to celebrate the end of the year! Bring your own blanket and food or purchase from one of the vendors, Chicken on the Road and Zac's Ice Cream Truck!

When: Thursday, June 12 | 5:00–6:30 PM (Please note, there is no rain date)

Where: Davis School (Outdoors)

Families must supervise their children

We encourage sunscreen, water bottles, and appropriate warm weather clothing
No alcohol allowed on site

Come celebrate with us!

Don't Forget!

*Friendly reminder that tomorrow is Wednesday, which is a 3/4 day. Student dismissal begins at 2pm.

*If you need to make a change to your student's dismissal plan on any given day, please be mindful to notify us as soon as possible, preferably before 1:30pm. Thank you.

*If you are planning on moving this Summer, please notify the office as soon as possible. We will send you a records release and send all the necessary paperwork to the new school district. If you have already notified the office, thank you!

*Wednesday, June 18th is the last day of school. Davis dismissal will begin at 12:05pm (no lunch is served).

The final day of school is Wednesday, June 18th (Early Dismissal)

School Supplies for 2025–2026:
Families can order school supplies online now through June 13th to receive free shipping. The online school supplies store will officially close on June 27th.

We will also provide grade-level supply lists for families who prefer to shop on their own.

End-of-Year Student Gift Options:
Looking for a fun way to celebrate your student? We have a limited supply of Bedford tie-dye shirts (available in select sizes, first come first serve), Bedford baseball caps, and both stainless steel and Nalgene water bottles. These make great end-of-year keepsakes! Reach out to the BEST PTO if you’re interested in picking some up for your student.

Here are a few thoughtful (and guideline-friendly!) ideas for year-end appreciation:

Email the principal to highlight your teacher’s great work
Have students write short notes about their favorite part of the school year
Organize a group lunch or dinner delivery
Contribute to a class gift card (if your budget allows)

To ensure you receive important updates from the BEST PTO over the summer and into the new school year, please:

Confirm your contact information is up to date on Membership Toolkit (www.bestpto.org)
When class assignments are released in August, log in to update your student and family information

The BEST PTO will continue to send communications via Membership Toolkit and Facebook, so staying connected is key!
