Ever wonder why the PTO puts so much heart (and hustle!) into Winterfest? This is why! 💙❄️
Winterfest is our BIG fundraiser, and the funds raised make incredible things happen all year long. The money supports Cultural Arts assemblies and Teacher Grants for the following school year—and wow, did last year deliver! Thanks to an amazing Winterfest, we raised over $23,000 🎉
Because of that success, we were able to host an author visit, bring in three fantastic assemblies, and award $15,000 in Teacher Grants. These AMAZING grants helped purchase flexible seating, classroom rugs, a school-wide character education curriculum, whiteboards, a sensory walk, adaptive classroom materials, lunch wagons, and so much more!
Best of all, these grants are requested directly by our teachers—the ones working with our students every day—and the items are used daily to enrich learning and support our kids.
Bottom line: the more energy and support we pour into Winterfest, the more incredible opportunities we can provide for our students. Let’s make this year even bigger and better! 🌟🎉
