RHS Weekly Update

Good afternoon Pirate Families,

This is Dr. Woods-Weeks with your weekly update. I hope you all enjoyed a restful Labor Day and are ready for a strong Week 3 of the school year. Please take a few moments to review the important updates below.

September is Suicide Prevention Month, a time to raise awareness, start conversations, and support one another. Mental health matters, and no one should face struggles alone.

Riverside is committed to promoting emotional well-being and providing resources so every student feels safe, supported, and heard. Throughout the month, we will share resources, host activities, and highlight services focused on prevention, education, and hope.

👉 If you or someone you know is struggling, please reach out to a trusted adult or contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline—available 24/7. Together, we can break the silence and save lives.

Join us for Curriculum/Meet the Teacher Night to connect with your child’s teachers and learn more about this semester’s curriculum and expectations.
