🚗Car Rider Line Reminder
Reminder: When leaving CRI after morning drop-off or afternoon pick-up, please remember that it is a right turn only on Sara Rd. This is to keep traffic moving safely!
If you are waiting in the car rider line, please do not block intersections or driveways. Keep at least 30 feet of space from all intersections so residents and other vehicles can safely get through.
Thank you for helping us keep traffic moving and our school community safe!
🚗 Morning Drop Off
We have several parents dropping students off at the front of the school while buses are unloading. Please remember that all students must be dropped off in the car rider line. If you arrive after 8:05, students may then be dropped off at the front entrance. Thank you for helping us keep our morning arrival safe and efficient.
🚗 No student checkouts after 2:35 PM.

This district-wide event is open to all ages.
Parents,
Please review bus expectations with your child. There have been many bus tickets issued this month.
Bus Expectations:
Be respectful of the driver and other passengers at all times.
Remain seated from the time you get on the bus until you exit.
Keep hands and feet to yourself.
Do not tamper with the windows or emergency door unless directed by the driver.
Disruptive behaviors that may jeopardize safety will not be tolerated and may result in immediate loss of bus privileges. Examples include:
Fighting, shouting, profanity, or horseplay.
Using tobacco or electronic cigarettes.
Extending any part of the body outside the window.
Throwing objects.
Refusing to follow the driver’s directions.
Vandalism.*
*Students who deface or damage a bus may lose bus privileges and will not be allowed to ride again until damages are paid in full.
The following items are not allowed on the bus:
Balloons
Glass containers
Food and drink trash
Thank you for helping us ensure that bus transportation is safe and respectful for all students.
Reminders:
1. Please stay on Sara Road and do not pull into the Sara Park neighborhood to bypass the dismissal line. When cars enter the neighborhood, residents can become blocked in, and we have also had vehicles attempt to cut back into the dismissal line. We want to keep traffic moving fairly and safely for everyone.
2. Water Bottle Reminder 💧
Please remember that student water bottles should be sealable and contain water only (no straws). We ask that students do not add water packets, flavoring, or other ingredients to their water.
We’ve had several spills, and the ingredients in flavored water products can attract ants. Thank you for helping us keep our classrooms clean and our school pest-free!
3. Toys & Squishies 🧸
Please remind students to leave toys, squishies, and other non-school items at home. These items can become distractions and can sometimes lead to sharing, trading, or disagreements.
We want to keep the focus on learning, friendship, and a positive school day!
🚫 Delivery Reminder
No outside deliveries, please! Food and other deliveries are not permitted at school. This helps us maintain a safe and secure environment for all students and staff. Thank you for helping us keep our school safe!
District Medicine Policy
Students can not carry any type of medication with them at school. If your child requires medication during the school day, a parent/guardian must complete the required forms and provide doctor approval. All forms and medications must be turned in to the school nurse.
Free/Reduced Lunch Applications
What Is It? Why Submit My BFF?
The Bronco Family Form (BFF) is a quick application that unlocks a host of benefits for families and schools. You may have heard this form called the "School Meal Application" or "Lunch Form" in the past, but it’s about much more than meals.
Only 1 Form Needed Per Family: regardless of how many MPS students are in the family.
All Information Confidential
Filling out the BFF helps ensure MPS has access to essential federal funding for programs like:
School meals (free or reduced-cost for qualifying students)
Technology support and home internet discounts
Family engagement programs, classroom resources, and grants
Even if you don’t think your family will qualify, completing the form is still critical. The more forms submitted, the more funding Mustang qualifies for; funding that supports every student in our district, not just those receiving meal benefits.
Giveaway Details: All complete applications received by 9/18 will qualify all MPS students in the household, regardless of their qualification for services.
One winner per school site will be drawn
Prize: Switch 2
