District Developed Special Delivery Plan
Every five years, school districts in Iowa revisit the District’s Special Delivery Plan that outlines the services provided to eligible individuals for special education services. The team consists of general and special education teachers, parents, administrators, AEA representatives. The team met twice this winter to review the district’s previous plan, look through examples, revise, and update, and create the new plan.
The next step in this process is to offer it to the public for comments and questions. Linked here is the DDSPD for Riceville. If you have any questions and/or comments please submit them to: Heather Suckow PK-5 Principal, 912 Woodland Ave, Riceville, Iowa; heather.suckow@riceville.k12.ia.us; or Kari Christenson, Special Ed Director; kari.christenson@riceville.k12.ia.us.
Paper copies will be available to review during Parent-Teacher conferences in the Elementary school lobby.
