The Rebel Kitchen offers a Plant-Based Option everyday at Lunch. Breakfast is served everyday after 7:30 a.m. A friendly reminder that students must have money on their account in order to purchase a la carte items or additional lunches. All students receive one breakfast/lunch daily, free of charge.

There is a HS Student Council Meeting, in Ms. Jackson's room, on Tuesday, May 13th.during Pride Time.

Any 6th or 7th grade girl interested in the playing JH softball in the fall should sign up on Mrs. Wise's door?

There will be a meeting with Mr. Noard in the gym at the Junior High today, (Tuesday May 13th) during Pride Time for all 8th grade boys.

There will be a SC golf meeting this Thursday morning the 15th during pride time in Mr. Langdon’s room. This is for anyone (boys and girls) ((including 8th graders)) who are interested in golfing for the Rebels in the fall next school year. Be there!

There are 2 tables set up outside the library. Students have until May 16th to claim things. After May 16th it all will be thrown out. Check out the lost and found tables today!

There will be a summer basketball meeting for all boys this Friday in Mr. Mastin's room. All boys from 8th grade and up should expect to attend

There is a sign-up sheet for 8th grade through Juniors for Volleyball next year. If you are interested, stop in the office to sign-up.

• There is a (current member) SCHS Student Council meeting on Friday, May 16th, during Pride Time in Ms. Jackson's room. Executive Board elections & Homecoming theme selection will occur. Be there!

• '25-'26 SCHS Student Council membership applications are available through your email and Class Google Classroom. Applications are due on Wednesday, May 21st. NO LATE APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

If you are planning to take the Accuplacer for Black Hawk, which is the entrance exam needed for certain dual credit classes (i.e. English 101, Psychology, Sociology), please let me know asap. I am planning to schedule this test here at school before the end of the year. I am looking at Friday the 16th or Tuesday the 20th at 1:30. If you are planning or wanting to take it here at school, please let me know which time/day you prefer. You can also schedule this test with Black Hawk's testing center if you prefer to take it at the college.

The library has A LOT of books still out!!

Reminder to all JH and HS students to get to their scheduled classes on time! If you accumulate 3 or more tardies in a week time span, you will be assigned a 1 hour after school detention on Wednesday from 2:00 - 3:00 pm. This includes 1st hour attendance!

Reminder to all JH and HS students that if you do not attend a scheduled class without excuse, this will be considered an unexcused absence and skipped class. Any skipped classes will be assigned a 1 hour after school detention on Wednesday from 2:00 - 3:00 pm. This includes your Advisory class.

There will be a meeting for anyone interested in Cross Country on Thursday, May 22 at 6:30pm. If you are interested stop in the office to pick up an informational flyer.

• Let’s get this semester started on the right foot – If you want to get off to a good start and get ahead of the game early then please take advantage of SC Tutoring available EVERY morning M-F 7:15 – 7:45am and in afternoon on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 3:00 to 3:30pm. Let’s go #ALLin and get this semester started with a RELENTLESS pursuit to #ProtectThisHouse!!!!

Please note details for HS Parking this school year. Students will not be allowed to park on Franklin St. or Prairie Ave. Additional parking is available in the additional HS lot and the new JH lot.
