CATCHING UP WITH... Mrs. Edmonston
It's been another fantastic week at Canyon View Elementary School. Here are just a few highlights:
On Wednesday, Team CV is hosted the Volunteer Brunch in the MPR. On Thursday, we had two fieldtrips! Our TK and Ms. Marty's class went to Oma's Farm while our first grade visited the Zoo. On Friday, we ended the week with a third grade fieldtrip to H&M Landing. What a week!
It is hard to believe that we have only two weeks of school left! Be sure to check the calendar so you don't miss out on any of our end-of-year events.
Let's Make it a GREAT week!

Celebrating the CVES Counseling Program!
We are so proud of all the ways our counseling program has been able to support the well-being of every CVES student. Did you know that funding for our counselor is provided from PUSD (80%) and the CVES Foundation (20%). Thanks to your generous support of the CVES Foundation, Canyon View students benefit from a counselor five days a week!

Volunteer Brunch Thank You
Team CV is thankful for the time and energy each of our volunteers contribute to Canyon View! All of our PTO (social) and Foundation (fundraising) events are volunteer-run, allowing us to retain larger portions of our fundraising to directly benefit the school instead of going towards administrative or event organization fees. In addition, many of our teachers rely heavily on the help of parent and guardian volunteers in the classroom. Whether it is chaperoning a field trip, being a weekly classroom helper, helping to run the Friendship garden, or volunteering time at one of our Team CV events, these (and many more not pictured here!) volunteers are at the very heart of our school. Thank you to all of our volunteers for making Canyon View a wonderful place to be!
