Fall Party & Parade Fall Party & Parade

Friday, October 31st

On Friday, October 31st, we’re gearing up for our Fall Party! Students are welcome to bring their costume in a bag to school if they’d like.

Just a heads-up: costumes should be easy to slip on quickly over regular clothes, because there will only be a few minutes to change before the school parade and classroom party. Unfortunately, there won’t be time for restroom wardrobe changes, so plan accordingly. In keeping with safety and school policies, masks, hair color, face paint, makeup, and weapons are a no-go—so leave those home, along with any extra accessories that might mysteriously disappear (we've all had that one missing cape!).

Families, you’re invited to the outdoor parade starting at 2:05 PM, where there’s plenty of room to cheer on our little ghouls and goblins. However, only PTA room volunteers will be allowed inside classrooms for the parties, which kick off at 2:20 PM. PTA volunteers can enter the building after the parade wraps up.

Please take a moment to review the Shared Food and Parade Guidance Thanks for helping us make this a spooktacular, safe, and smooth event for everyone!

Veterans Day Program Veterans Day Program

Week of 10/27 - Paper RSVP Comes Home

Veterans Day Assembly

Tuesday, November 11th @ 10:00 AM । Kinsner Elementary

We are inviting veterans and their families to our Veterans Day Assembly on Tuesday, November 11th at 10 AM in the Kinsner Elementary Gym. You'll be receiving a paper RSVP form which will be sent on the week of October 27th. Please RSVP by Friday, November 7th. Mrs. Mary Marconi will be the point of contact here and can be reached at mmarconi@scsmustangs.org

We plan on live streaming the event on the Strongsville website. Due to the size of the gym along with the number of families in attendance we aren’t able to have all grades in the gym at once. Historically, this means that 4th and 5th graders will attend the event assembly portion, while K-3 will watch that part within the classroom.

Miss Sarah Cramer has been teaching in our District for 9 years. Miss Cramer has taught both 1st and 2nd grade at Kinsner Elementary. She earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Bowling Green State University.

“I love working with my students and building strong, nurturing relationships that help them feel safe and supported in the classroom. When students feel secure, they’re more willing to take risks and grow. I’m especially passionate about early literacy and love helping young readers build confidence and a lifelong love of reading.”

“I truly enjoy collaborating with my colleagues - we have a very strong sense of community. We share ideas, support each other, and learn together, which makes the work environment feel so positive and uplifting. It’s this sense of teamwork and connection that makes each day feel rewarding.”

Thank you Miss Cramer for making valuable connections in your classroom, with both students and teachers, and building strong relationships at Kinsner! #ModelMustang

COOKIES & CANDIDATES NIGHT, HOSTED BY STRONGSVILLE COUNCIL PTA

Join us for an opportunity to meet the candidates on the November ballot for the Strongsville Board of Education at the “Cookies and Candidates Night” hosted by Strongsville Council PTA. The event will be held at the SCS Administrative Offices on Monday, October 20 at 7:00pm.

Why is Council PTA hosting this evening? We believe it’s important for parents, students, and families to be informed about the individuals who will be making decisions that impact our schools. This evening is a chance to hear directly from the Board of Education candidates, learn about their vision, and ensure that every voice - parents and students alike - can be heard.
