Letter From Principal Montgomery Letter From Principal Montgomery

Dear Wolf Families,

We hope you’ve enjoyed a restful and memorable summer. As we get ready to launch the 2025-26 school year, we are excited to welcome all of our returning and new Wolves. Whether your student is stepping into middle school for the first time or returning to familiar routines, we are honored to partner with you for another great year.

At Mountain View, our work is grounded in two core goals: creating a school where every Wolf belongs and ensuring that all students achieve high levels of learning. These goals guide every decision we make—from how we build relationships and foster community, to how we design instruction and provide support. When students feel safe, connected, and capable, powerful learning happens.

This year, our staff is embracing the theme: "All In, All Year, All Wolves." This means every staff member, every day, is committed to every student. We are “all in” on making sure your child feels known, supported, valued and challenged to grow.

We also recognize that strong schools are built through strong partnerships. We are grateful for the many ways our families contribute to our community—from volunteering and attending events to supporting learning at home. Together, we are building something special.

This newsletter includes key information to help your family prepare for the year ahead. In the coming weeks, we’ll continue to share updates through email, social media, and our school website.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or needs. We’re here—and we’re all in.

Warmly,

Amy Montgomery

Principal

Our Wolf PRIDE events are time dedicated to making sure that students and families have everything they need to be ready to start the year. At various stations throughout the school you will have the opportunity to: pick up your schedule, meet staff, tour the school and turn in health-care/immunization forms (if not done previously) . While you’re here, you will definitely want to check out the new Wolf gear at our PTO store.

To help us keep lines short, we ask families to attend during your assigned hour window when possible.
