Delton Kellogg Schools appreciates your support for our athletic teams. To insure everyone enjoys these events, we ask that you do not bring outside equipment to the games. This includes footballs, soccer balls, mitts etc. Students are asked to be seated in the bleachers with their friends and family.

Thank you - Athletic Department

Delton Kellogg Middle School is proud to offer resources to our students that need help with assignments. One of our dedicated teachers is available to help with questions and provide guidance on available resources. Students can catch up on past due assignments or utilize this time to build skills for successful study habits.

Beginning this year, KickStart is asking that any deposits of $20 or more be clearly marked by a parent or guardian expressly stating it is for the KickStart Program. We want to ensure that the money being sent with your children is designated for their account and not for another school activity.

Hello Panther Families! We have completed another great week at the middle school.

We are still celebrating our Halloween Spirit days next week. Monday is dress like a ghost day and Tuesday is costume day. Costumes need to be school appropriate and may not include:

• Masks
• Costume Weapons: toy guns, knives, swords, long sharp plastic nails, ax, sickle, chainsaws, or ninja weaponry (nunchucks, throwing stars, bow staff, or swords)
• Costumes that do not meet the length and coverage requirements from the Student Handbook

Next Friday November 3rd is the end of the first quarter of school. Please make sure your child is checking their grades in PowerSchool and finishing the quarter strong. We offer Success Center every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Mrs. Tyner hosts on Tuesdays and Mrs. Estep hosts on Thursdays. Students do not need to sign up, but they will need to be picked up from school at 4:00 pm.

The fall season is officially upon us. Please make sure your child is dressed for the weather. Our building opens at 7:30 am, so students will have to wait outside if they come before that. Also, during lunch recess students will have the opportunity to go outside unless it is raining.

As always, I truly appreciate everyone's hard work in making DKMS a great place to be! Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have. Have a great weekend!

Just can't hide that Panther PRIDE!!!
