A Message from the Principal

Dear Highlander Families:

Our campus is active and busy as we head into the final week of the semester. Next week, students who are interested in playing basketball in January must turn in their permission slips by Thursday, December 19th, to Coach Visser or Coach Foley. To complete the Outsiders novel study, Core 7 is having an Outsiders dress-up day on December 18th. Students are encouraged to dress up as their favorite character from the book, students must follow the dress code, and no play weapons are allowed.

ASB is sponsoring dress up days next week so students can show their holiday spirit. See the graphic in this newsletter to know what to wear each day of Spirit Week. Please also consider supporting the Toy and Sock Drive, all donations will go to Operation Warm Wishes right here in Tustin. ASB will collect items in 1st period and the class with the most donations will win a 9-Square game and donut party. All donations are due by Wednesday, December 18th.

To wrap up the semester, we will have a school-wide Student Achievement Assembly on Wednesday, December 18th. If your student is being recognized, your child's teacher will be reaching out to you directly with details about the exact time and location of the assembly so that you can attend. The last day of the semester for students is on Thursday, December 19th. It is a regular school day with dismissal at 2:45 pm.
