Mr. Macken's Message
Dear Centerville Families,
A big thank you to our amazing CPTA for hosting such a wonderful Family Author Night! We had a tremendous turnout, and families enjoyed cookies, learning how a book is created, listening to a story, participating in a craft, and getting books signed by the author.
As we head into the final two months of school, we have many exciting events coming up and we would love your help! Our CPTA will be hosting a Book Fair and Spring Festival in May, and we are looking for volunteers to make these events a success. Please watch for more information and sign-up opportunities soon.
Thank you for being such an important part of our school community!
Go Cougars!
Mike Macken

Reminder: Early Childhood Screening
Early childhood screening is a requirement for students going to kindergarten in September 2026.
Early Childhood Screening is a free, simple check of a young child's health and development. The program connects parents and children to early childhood programs and community resources. Screening should be done between the ages of 3 and 5 years old and is required for public school attendance. It does not determine kindergarten readiness. We still have the following monthly screening dates available: April 10 and May 7. Schedule an appointment here . If you have any questions or need assistance, send an email to ecscreening@isd12.org or call the Early Childhood office at 763-792-6120.
