ID Badges MUST Be Worn at ALL Times.
At TISD, all students are required to wear their ID badges daily. These badges are essential for riding the bus, purchasing food in the cafeteria, and maintaining a safe school environment.

Tomball ISD Emergency Preparedness and Communication
Tomball ISD must be prepared for a variety of multi-hazard threats that could occur while students and/or staff are on campus. In the event of a real or perceived emergency, Tomball ISD staff and students will follow one of the designated emergency response procedures.
The link below provides access to the Tomball ISD website, which outlines the communication parents and guardians would receive in the event of an incident on campus:
Lunch Visitors Guidelines
Lunch is part of the instructional day, and each lunch period lasts 30 minutes. As a fast-growth district with limited cafeteria space, it is essential that we adhere to our schedule. Please be mindful of the space constraints. Parents should plan to be in the cafeteria for no more than 30 minutes. A few reminders:
Lunch visits are limited to twice per week.
-
Parents should stay in the cafeteria during their child's lunch time to allow all parents an opportunity to enjoy lunch with their children.
-
Due to space limitations, a designated parents' table will be set up on the stage.
-
While in the cafeteria, parents may only eat at the designated tables with their child.
-
Remember, photos and videos of other students in the cafeteria are prohibited.
-
Visitors are limited to two per student due to space constraints.
-
All visitors must bring their driver's license to check in at the front office. Lunch visitors must also be listed as an emergency contact.

Access Your Student’s Report Card in HAC
At Tomball, we use the Home Access Center (HAC) fto access your student’s grades. You can find the HAC FAQ and here the TISD Home Access Center Info page for more information. Progress reports and Report cards can be checked through Home Access Center (HAC) for parents/guardians.
Log into HAC, select the Grades icon, and click the Report Card tab. Select Print on the right side to print the report card.
Some things to note:
- The KG and 1st grade report card format in HAC will look different from what you may be used to, but all the data will be there.
- Guardians will only be able to access current-year progress reports and report cards (prior years will not be available). These reports will remain accessible until we roll over to the new school year.
If you need help accessing your parent HAC account, please email Luz Muston at luzmuston@tomballisd.net with your request.
Parental Rights and Access to Instructional Information
Tomball ISD is committed to ensuring transparency and supporting parents as partners in their child’s education. In accordance with Texas Senate Bill 12, we are implementing key requirements to uphold parental rights and provide clear access to instructional information.
The following information will be available on the Tomball ISD website under the Parent Portal:
- Instructional Plans and Course Syllabi – By the start of each semester, instructional plans or course syllabi for every class will be posted online.
We value the partnership between families and schools, and these steps are designed to keep parents fully informed and engaged in their child’s learning experience.
SPARK - LSC and TISD Library Partnership
TISD Library Services will continue working with Lone Star College for the SPARK Library partnership this school year. Students will be able place a hold from home on books beginning Tuesday, September 8th by logging in at bit.ly/tisdspark. Library book deliveries to campuses will begin on Monday, September 14th.
If your child will ride the bus this school year, please complete bus registration during Annual Enrollment through the Home Access Center. Annual Enrollment is now open.

ATTENDANCE MATTERS
Wildcat Families,
We need your support! In order to achieve our 99% attendance goal, we must work together. Here’s how you can help:
-
Ensure your Wildcat is at school every day unless they are sick with a fever or vomiting.
-
Schedule family trips during student holidays.
-
Arrange necessary appointments so that students are present at 10:10 a.m., when official attendance is taken.
-
Remember that arriving late or leaving early also affects attendance. Avoid missing instructional time whenever possible.
Thank you for partnering with us to make Canyon Pointe GREAT! If you need support, please reach out to Mrs. Muston, our Registrar.
Important Attendance Reminder:
To excuse an absence, a doctor’s note and/or parent note must be submitted within three days of the student’s return to school. If no note is received, the absence will remain unexcused. After three unexcused absences, parents will receive an Excessive Absence Letter from the district — this is required by law.
For your convenience, notes may be emailed directly to our registrar at: luzmuston@tomballisd.net
