Dear Mustang Families and Caregivers,

Finishing the Year Strong!

As we enter the final stretch of the school year, I want to thank you for your continued support and partnership. There’s a lot happening across campus, and we’re focused on helping our students finish strong—academically and socially.

8th Grade Families: Be sure to check out the special section dedicated to your student’s End-of-Year Celebration Activities. We can’t wait to send our 8th graders off in Mustang style!

Academics: With just two weeks to go, it’s important that all students stay focused, especially those enrolled in high school credit courses. Final exams and culminating projects are right around the corner, and strong performance now sets the tone for success next year.

MAP Testing: This week marks the end of spring MAP testing for ELAR. These assessments help us understand each student’s growth and inform our placement decisions for the 2025–26 school year. Please remind your student that their effort on these assessments matters and helps us support them in the right ways moving forward.

Enroll Austin: We need your help! If you haven’t yet completed your Enroll Austin registration for next year, please take a moment to do so. Our campus enrollment directly affects how many teachers we have, what electives we can offer, and whether your child will receive their top course choices. Reminders will be going out again this week—we appreciate your attention to this important task.

Volunteers Needed: We’re excited about Mustang Day, our final day celebration, and we’d love your help to make it special! If your calendar allows, please consider volunteering. It's a joyful way to end the year together.

Thank you for being such an essential part of our Mustang community. Let’s finish strong!

Let’s make it a great week to be an O. Henry Mustang!

☮️, ❤️, and 🐴’s,

Marlo Malott

We wanted to announce that our annual registration process is now open. To ensure your child is all set for next year, you will need to register your child using the AISD Portal by mid-May.

Registering online will only take a few minutes and ensures your child has a smooth transition into the following year. This process allows us to make sure all of your information is up to date.

If you have any questions about the registration process, please call 512-414-7328 or our front office at 512-414-3229.
