Important FAFSA Information for High School Seniors

To be eligible for most types of financial aid, students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the Oregon Student Aid Application (ORSAA). These applications compile financial information and other details about students and families, which the US Department of Education and the State of Oregon use to determine financial need and eligibility for various financial aid opportunities. The 2024-25 FAFSA and ORSAA are open - apply now!

When applying, there are important changes this year for students to keep in mind.

  • New for 2024-25, each contributor must enter and complete the form separately, answering only questions that are pertinent to them.
  • There are a significant number of applications that have been started but cannot be completed until other contributors finish their work.

Please also note that according to the U.S. Department of Education, technical issues that prevented students whose parents lack social security numbers from submitting have been resolved.

The West Linn Heritage Seat and Wilsonville Legacy Seat programs in association with WLWV Music and Arts Partners (MAP) were created to raise money for the performing arts centers.
