Updates from Kindergarten
Ms. Katie's class has been busy counting, using their pumpkins to dig out and count seeds! Ms. Katie shared that some students are counting right up to 100 and beyond with her. Way to go, kindergarteners!
What's the Buzz at Bridges?
Students at Bridges have been busy enjoying all kinds of amazing activities. Ms. Casey notes that the STEAM group has been investigating leaves and creating outstanding art with them - check out new featured artwork in the main hallway, if you are in the building! We also have a group of students playing chess each week at the Roxbury Free Library, working on strategy and preparing for upcoming tournaments.
RVS Dates to Remember
- School is closed for Thanksgiving Break all of next week, from November 20th - 24th.
- Please send appropriate winter gear as temps are getting colder - all students are outside for at least 30 minutes per day, often more. If you are in need of any winter gear for your child, please contact Tina or Shannon!
- VT Cookie Love fundraiser forms are due back to Ms. Tina no later than this Friday.

Still seeking photos of "Kids Caught Reading!"
We are still seeking photos for our new front hallway photo collage: many students have been reading at home and school, and the culture of literacy is building up steam at RVS! Our new display will feature "kids caught reading" around the school and at home. If your kiddo is okay with it, snap a photo of them reading anywhere and send it our way to highlight at shannonm@mpsvt.org.

MRPS PIE Family Support Fund - Please Donate or Share!
Every year, the MRPS PIE community raises money to directly support families in the Montpelier Roxbury School District. This is a meaningful way for neighbors to support neighbors and to share the love during the cold days ahead.
Our goal this year is to raise $10,000 by December 8th! If you can help, please donate here. And consider sharing this page - on social media, email, or any way you can! You might share with friends and family who live out of state, as our community has been supporting one another throughout the flood recovery, and while the need is greater, the resources may be depleting.
MSMS Announces Solidarity Craft Fair, December 9th in Montpelier
Main Street Middle School's 8th graders are putting on the Solidarity Craft Fair this year. Save the date! Great food from our Sustainability kitchen, many local artist vendors, products from our Innovation and Art students and a silent auction with local gift cards and treasures. IF you know anyone who would like to rent a table, please direct them to our website: https://sites.google.com/view/plantinghope/solidarity-craft-fair?authuser=2
