A Message From Mrs. Carmody
Dear Fremont Families,
As we move further into April, we are all eagerly anticipating the consistent warmth of spring. While the "April showers" are currently keeping us indoors more than we’d like, these transition weeks are a great time to remind our students about dressing for changing weather conditions. Please ensure your child has a light jacket for those chilly mornings, as we head outside for recess as much as possible!
We are currently hosting a Book Drive for Bernie’s Book Bank. Bernie’s mission is to provide books to children who may not have any of their own, and we are proud to support their goal of "book ownership for all." We invite families to donate gently used children’s books (birth through 6th-grade level) in the designated bins in our lobby. This is a wonderful way to practice community stewardship while making room on your shelves for new summer reads. Please see below for more information.
Sincerely,
Beth Carmody
Principal
Miss Kopp’s first graders became anatomy experts during a recent Healthy Minds class! The students had a blast learning about the functions and locations of our major organs. Students teamed up to color and cut paper organs and carefully place each piece on their body mats. These young health explorers loved discovering exactly how we work from the inside out.
