Welcome
Welcome! My name is Kristin Van Sant, and I’m so excited to be your child's first-grade teacher at Sage Canyon! I’m a Colorado native, a proud Broncos fan, and a graduate of Colorado State University, where I earned my degree in Early Childhood Education. I also hold a Master’s degree in Education from Regis University. My husband’s career in the Air Force gave our family the opportunity to live around the world before bringing us back home to Colorado, where we’re grateful to have planted roots in this wonderful community.
When I’m not at school, you’ll usually find me cheering on my three daughters at their sporting events, skiing, traveling, or spending time with family and friends. We also have an energetic dog named Charlie, who keeps us laughing with his playful personality and his determination to eat just about anything in sight!
Teaching first grade is truly a joy, and I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of the Sage Canyon family, where my two younger daughters also attend school. My goal is to create a classroom where every child feels safe, valued, and excited to learn while inspiring a lifelong love of learning. I look forward to partnering with your family to make this a wonderful school year!
Charlie
