The Weekly Highlander
Volume #23
A Message from the Principal
Dear Highlander Families:
Next week is Conference Week for students and families. You will be contacted by your child's teacher if your child needs to have a conference. There will be minimum days on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday and students will be dismissed at 12:25pm. Please plan accordingly, as the library will not be open for students after school, and before school, tutoring will not be held.
Do you have unanswered questions about registration and course selection for the 2025-2026 school year? If so join me and our school counselors on Wednesday, February 26th at 8am in the MPR for Donuts and Details. Have general questions about Hewes? We are ready to answer! This event is for parents, students are welcome to go to the library for our tech free Wednesday activities.
Please stay connected to Hewes by checking our website and following us on Instagram @heweshighlanders for the latest information and news.

Highlander for the Day!
The Hewes staff is recognizing HIGHLANDERS “H” FOR A DAY AWARD! Highlander for a Day is a program at Hewes Middle School that celebrates students for incredible moments in the areas of Respect, Responsibility, and Results.
Students can enter campus and go to the library for tech-free Wednesdays with games and puzzles while parents join us for coffee and conversation. Parents dropping off their athletes for the basketball scrimmage at 7:45 am can join us for coffee and still make it to the first game at 9 am. We hope to see you on Wednesday Morning, February 26th at 8 am.
