Good Morning Memorial Families,
I hope everyone had an amazing weekend. The awesome stretch of weather continues and is a good reminder that September in New England is pretty terrific.
In January, we will be holding our second Family Math Night. This year I am hoping to make this night a true engagement night, by having parents who work in STEM fields design a station for students and their caregivers to learn about math through your lens. If you might be willing to design and present on that night (January 28th), please reach out to me at wbell@mursd.org so that I can get a sense of whattypes of activities that we might be able to offer.
I want to thank all of our families for so quickly getting into drop off and pick up routines this year! I just have three reminders for families regarding parent pick up in the afternoons.
1. Please do not get out of your car when you drive up to pick up your child.
2. If your child is unable to buckle themselves, please drive to the front loop after loading your child into your car and park in front of the Upton PD car. There you may get out and assist your child.
3. Please adhere to our dismissal policy that after 2:45pm, students will only be dismissed through the pick up line, not at the front door.
