Registration will take place on Tuesday, August 11th (12pm-3pm & 5pm-7pm) and Wednesday, August 12th (8am-11am & 5pm-7pm). Work stations will be available at registration for parents to complete the demographic update in PowerSchool, however, you can expedite the registration process by completing this task in advance. Parents must have a Parent Powerschool account (get a code from our office if needed). Once registration is complete, schedules will be provided and the building will be available to walk your schedule, take your school photo, & find your locker.

What to Do If You Miss Student Registration What to Do If You Miss Student Registration

We understand that it's not always possible to attend student registration during the posted times, even though we highly encourage everyone to make every effort to do so. Attending registration is an important part of a smooth start to the school year.

If you are unable to attend, please follow these steps to ensure your student is ready for the first day of school:

  • Complete the Demographic Update: This ensures we have the most current information for your child. This must be completed prior to receiving your students schedule.

  • Stop by the Main Office: You can stop by the main office during posted office hours, AFTER the last day of registration, Wednesday, August 13th.

** Please note that student photos will be taken during picture retakes in October.

Schedule Changes Schedule Changes

Please know that we have done our best to create schedules that honor the elective requests students submitted last spring.

Due to a number of factors, including balancing class sizes and ensuring students have the courses they need, we are unable to process schedule change requests at this time. Please also be aware that schedules are subject to change for the same reasons.

We appreciate your understanding and look forward to a great school year!

Student Drop Off and Pick Up Student Drop Off and Pick Up

Our goal for drop off and pick up is to ensure the safety of students and staff while providing an efficient process. Please read the reminders below to support this process.

  1. Pull all the way forward in the circle drive, as far as possible.

  2. Make sure your student is ready to exit the car in the morning, and quick to enter the car after school.

  3. Please do not park in the circle drive.

  4. Avoid dropping students off in the bus area after 7:30 (see diagram).

  5. Be patient and drive slowly in all parking lots. Staff and students are walking in parking lots before and after school, we need to ensure their safety.

Medication Medication

Medications which need to be taken in school must be administered by certified school personnel (or designee) in the presence of another adult. Parents must bring medication to the school office in the original container and fill out the proper form. Students should not be in posession of medication while at school.

Contact the office if you have any questions.

Teaming at RPMS Teaming at RPMS

As we look toward the 2026/27 school year, we are thrilled to redefine the student experience at Reeths-Puffer Middle School with a teaming model.

What is Teaming?

All 7th and 8th-grade students will be placed on one of two dedicated teams for their core classes. This structure allows a specific group of teachers to share the same group of students, creating a "small school" feel.

Why We Are Excited

Our team has been planning this transition for a long time because of the clear benefits for our students:

  • Stronger Connections: Teaming bridges the gap between the Intermediate and High School, helping students feel a greater sense of belonging during these rapid years of change.

  • Consistent Environment: With teachers working closely together, students will experience more uniform classroom policies, reducing the need to "code switch" between periods.

  • Student Support: Core teachers will meet regularly to discuss student needs, allowing for earlier interventions and more unified communication with parents.

  • Innovative Learning: This model encourages interdisciplinary practices, helping students see how their subjects connect to real-world experiences.
