Library Happenings

We will be creating a schedule for classes to come to the library to collect their devices. We will start with upper grades and make our way to PreK. As always please be flexible with the schedule. I will be working hard to get your student devices to you as soon as possible.

PreK and Kinder books are checked out under the teachers name, I will let you all decide if you want to let books go home with students. 1st-5th will be allowed to checkout three books at a time, we will make sure students will checkout books on their reading level.

**We will start checking out books to students by the third full week of school.

Our library is run on a flexible schedule. Students are allowed to visit the library as needed throughout the day/week to checkout new books. Teachers can send up to 4 students at a time to check out books, please send two students with a timer.

Library will only be closed for lunch duty and lunch. If the library is closed any other time an announcement will be made.

We are an AR campus.

Once devices have been handed out, I will send out a sheet for teachers to sign-up for orientation. Orientation will cover the basics of the library procedures as well as go over when your students are able to visit the library. Please be on the lookout for that email. Again, if you have any questions, don't hesitate to stop by the library.

All of these items have been purchased by our campus as well as C&I, so please use them.

We also have a list of online resources that can be used in your classroom. We no longer have access to Brainpop. There will be a document in your mailbox with a list of these resources.
