We hope all of our students had a great Fall Break! We look forward to a great 2nd quarter. Report cards will be going home on Thursday and every child will receive a paper copy. We will be having our Magnet Fall Arts Festival in the Theatre area THIS Saturday, October 12th between 10am-12pm and we invite all of you to attend. Our theatre magnet will be putting on their first play "The Syringa Tree" next week between October 17-19. Tickets can be purchased at leehightheatre.ludus.com. We have lots of important testing and special events coming up both this Wednesday, October 9 and next Wednesday, October 16. It is very important that all students be in attendance these days.

Finally, please help us by making sure your young adult is meeting dress code daily. We do not want this to be our focus, but we do have a dress code and everyone is expected to follow it.

• Attention Seniors! Please remember that NEXT week (October 7-11) is the 2024 Alabama Free College Application Week! Fall Break is a great time to do research and make a plan for what colleges you want to apply to!! There will be several opportunities for you to apply and get help applying for colleges throughout the week!!!
  
• Attention parents who have students in Dual Enrollment! Join a virtual session for updates on what to expect while your high school student is participating in Dual Enrollment!
  This virtual seminar is designed for parents of students who are currently participating in dual enrollment opportunities (Fall 2024). Topics will include:
  1. What participation in dual enrollment means for your student.
  2. High School and College Expectations.
  3. How To Support the Dual Enrolled Student.
  And much more!
  There will be 3 opportunities to join the call on October 8th. Register for the time that best fits your schedule (10AM, 12PM, or 5PM). The same information will be discussed during each session. Click here to register for a spot to join today!
