Students Request Transcript to be Sent to College
Hello Seniors! We’re writing to inform you about an important change in how our school will manage transcript requests moving forward.
Beginning immediately, we will be transitioning away from using SCOIR for transcript submissions. Instead, we will now be utilizing Xello.
What’s Changing?
Transcripts will now be sent through Xello.
You will no longer use SCOIR to request or send transcripts.
We encourage you to log into Xello via MyPlan soon to start exploring and ensure your information is up to date. Please also refer to the Xello information being sent out in the Counseling Newsletter for helpful resources and guidance.

Scholarships and Financial Aid
The 2026–27 FAFSA has launched
The Department of Education (ED) officially launched the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the 2026–27 academic year a week early. The launch came after a successful beta testing period in August. What does this mean for your students?
The 2026–27 CADAA is OPEN!
- The California Dream Act Application (CADAA) opens on October 1.
- The CADAA is available to eligible undocumented Californians and mixed status families. While the CADAA provides access to state and institutional aid, students who file only the CADAA are not eligible for federal financial aid dollars.
Please advise students from mixed-status families and their guardians to discuss their specific circumstances and the financial aid pathways available to them. Encourage them to weigh the risks and benefits of the FAFSA versus the CADAA based on their unique family situation and financial need. Visit the UC financial aid website for more information about each type of financial aid application and privacy concerns.
Trade Tuesdays
Tuesday October 21st - Biotechnology
The Biotechnology Program is intended to provide students with an intensive laboratory skills development experience to meet entry-level employment requirements in the biotechnology industry. Topics covered in the program include the fundamental chemical processes common in prokaryotic and eukaryotic biology, chemistry of bio-molecules (proteins, enzymes, nucleic acids and lipids), cellular and molecular biology, basic immunology, and classical and molecular genetics with an emphasis on gene expression and genetic engineering. The program courses address skills and techniques common to the biotechnology industry.
