Photo ID Required
Providing a safe and secure learning environment for students is of paramount importance in the Olathe Public Schools. The district has numerous practices, procedures and protocols in place each day to ensure a safe learning environment. Please remember that District policy requires us to ask for ID from EVERYONE each time they enter the building. Please remember to have your driver's license ready for the camera at the door when you arrive at Canyon Creek.

If you are thinking about becoming more involved at our amazing school, the PTO wants you. There are many ways to get involved from large to small.
The PTO is for everybody and we are so glad to be part of the CY community.
Upcoming Events
Fun Run Fundraiser
The annual fundraiser kicks off Thursday, September 10th and culminates with the Fun Run around the school on Thursday, September 24th from 2:45-3:30pm.
This event is our school's main fundraiser and funds so many cool and important things…from field trips, field trip transportation, teacher appreciation week, teacher grants that directly benefit each and every student, capital improvement projects, fun school events, and so much more!
Our fundraising goal this year is $40,000 and we need your help to make it happen. There are fantastic Crew incentives, special recognition for the top 20 earners, and popsicles for all students after the run.
PLUS, if we meet our goal Mrs. James will become a human banana split! Don’t miss the chance to cover our favorite principal in sundae toppings….all for a good cause!
In addition to family donations, corporate sponsors make a huge difference in reaching our overall goal. With a minimum $200 donation, corporate sponsors will be recognized in several ways including social media, indoor/outdoor signage, and recognition in the yearbook.

Pizza on the Playground
The Canyon Creek PTO is excited to host Pizza on the Playground on Friday, September 25th from 5:30 - 8pm. This free event for all Canyon Creek Elementary families.
Additionally, there will be a dessert truck, t-shirt pressing by FF Designs, a banner artist, Spark Play Grow, and more. These fun vendors will be for purchase.

The PTO would like to ensure that there is enough pizza and fun for every family and that will not be possible without an RSVP.
Save the date, come have a slice on the PTO, buy a dessert, and support local vendors.
Class Party Payment
Please consider donating $5 per student to assist in covering the cost of class parties. Throughout the year, the PTO helps to support three class parties: Halloween, Holiday, and Valentine's Day. Payment can be made via Venmo (@CanyonCreekPTO), cash or check (payable to Canyon Creek PTO).
