FELICITA FAMILY NEWS
Week of September 22, 2024
PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE π
π Hello Bobcat Families,
This week we had a busy week with a visit from Dr. Ibarra, our district Superintendent, our first PTA Association meeting, and our first ELAC Meeting, just to name a few things!
Thank you to all of our parent volunteers who make these meetings possible! We couldn't run this school without you!

GRAB + GO BREAKFAST CHANGES π₯―ππ₯π
Due to low numbers with our Grab and Go Breakfast Cart, the cafeteria will no longer be able to support the cart near the office.
Instead, all students Grades 1-5 may get breakfast in the cafeteria from 7:40-7:55. Any students arriving after that may still obtain a grab and go meal at the cafeteria window from 7:55-8:15. They are able to eat grab and go meals at snack time.
Grades TK and Kinder breakfast will remain the same.
PARENT CONFERENCES π
Parent conferences are coming up the week of 10/7. There will be no school on 10/10-10/11 so teachers may hold conferences all day on those days.
Please be on the look out for a sign up sheet this week. Conferences are very important, and we ask that all students have at least 1 parent attend. Thank you!
PARENT SURVEY
We need your valuable feedback! Please take a few moments to complete our important survey, which will help us understand and address your needs. Please submit the survey by Friday, September 27th to make sure your voice is heard.
If you need assistance with this survey, please contact Laura Aguilera, Family Liaison at 760-432-2444 Ex.14028. Thank you for your time and support!

ATTENDANCE MATTERS β
Regular student attendance plays a critical role in our collective mission to ensure every student achieves their fullest potential.
Why Attendance Should Be a Top Priority:
Academic Achievement: Regular attendance is fundamental to student success. Each school day is a building block in the learning process. Consistent attendance helps students keep up with coursework, understand key concepts, and perform better academically.
Social and Emotional Development: School is a place where students develop crucial social skills and emotional resilience. Frequent absences can hinder their ability to form strong relationships with peers and teachers, impacting their overall development.
Future Opportunities: Consistent attendance is linked to higher graduation rates and better long-term outcomes, including higher education and career prospects. By prioritizing attendance, we are directly contributing to students' future success.
School Culture: Regular attendance fosters a positive school culture and enhances the learning environment for everyone. It creates a sense of community and ensures that all students have equal access to the resources and support they need.
