W is for watercolors on Wednesday.

In art students have been learning about Vincent van Gogh. They went outside to paint what they saw just as the Dutch Post Impressionist Artist used to do to paint beautiful landscapes.

This week fourth grade started their 5th annual Camp Be A STAAR and welcomed their newest group of campers! They started the day with a camp meeting where the campers were introduced to camp rules, camp teams names, and their camp counselors!

Campers will have the opportunity throughout the week to earn punches in their Camp Card which gets them a ticket into a raffle for some gift card prizes! They’ll also be competing in some fun camp games to earn points for their team and earn trips to the Whoop Whoop Wagon! Thank you to everyone who signed up to bring snacks, drinks, and prizes. The camp counselors really appreciate it!

Our fifth grade students had a blast at Camp Grady Spruce this week. If you are one of our fifth grade parents make sure to check out their class Facebook page to see ALL of they wonderful pictures that our teachers and chaperones shared.
