WMS Connections Program

This week we went to our local Dunkin and practiced ordering doughnuts at the counter. Connections took a short walk to Dunkins. Each student was then required to order the doughnut they wanted and in exchange for a doughnut coupon we had previously printed. Afterward, we returned to WMS to enjoy our snack as a group.

Quarter 1 closed on November 9th. All grades were entered into PowerSchool by November 15 (previously November 9). The main office will plan to mail report cards and progress reports home on November 21 (previously November 16).

All 6th graders are invited to see “Pandas” in the IMAX film. “Pandas”(Pandas) Afterwards, students will be getting lunch at the Burlington Mall Food Court.

Timeline of the day:

• 9:30 Bus departs WMS
• 10:30 Movie begins at Jordan IMAX Theater
• 11:15 Bus Pick-up and transport to the Burlington Mall.
• 12:30 Departure time
• 1:30 Estimated return time to WMS.

Van transportation was confirmed for 12:30 PM on (Wednesday) November 23, for any student who typically takes the van. If there are any updates or if you have any questions regarding van transportation please reach out to Nick Pappas at nicholas.pappas@watertown.k12.ma.us

• November 23: Early Release Day: Thanksgiving Recess Begins 12:30pm dismissal with grab n go lunch (Day E1, will see every class for a shortened period of time)
