Jennifer (Kimball) Reese, a member of Weymouth High School's class of

2013, made an impact on the indoor and outdoor track teams from her first

season in the winter of 2009, all the way to the spring of her senior year.

Jen also was a four-year member and two-year starter on the Wildcats

soccer team in the fall. As a sophomore, Jen set WHS school records in

the 400m hurdles and triple jump in the spring, all while continuing to be a

team player, and running on relays at major meets. As a junior, she won the

Division I Championship in the 400m hurdles outdoors, setting the meet

record of 1:03.85, a record that stood for multiple years. She qualified for

the national championship meet in North Carolina as an individual. Jen also

won the MSTCA state individual Heptathlon outdoors. Her senior year, Jen

set the WHS record in the 100m hurdles and triple jump, and maintained

her 400m hurdle record. She then won the MSTCA state individual

Pentathlon indoors, and followed that up with an individual Heptathlon

runner-up finish outdoors. She also helped lead the team to their first

outdoor Bay State Conference division title share. For her efforts, she was

named Bay State Conference MVP in the spring. She is the highest point

scorer in WHS history both outdoors, and combined indoors and outdoors.

She was awarded Best Female Athlete of her graduating class. A 2017

graduate of Holy Cross, Jen continued to excel as a D1 college athlete,

being named all-Patriot League 8 times in the high jump, javelin, pentathlon

and heptathlon, and all New England twice, in the Heptathlon and

Pentathlon. Jen lives in Dorchester, Mass. with her husband Phil and works

as a Finance Manager at Ascend Learning.
