ParentVue and OnLine Registration

Annual Verification for the 2026–27 school year is NOW open and waiting for you! Please take a few minutes to complete your student’s online registration for the upcoming school year. This process is necessary for ALL students returning to LHUSD. All registration is completed through ParentVUE. If you do not yet have an account, you will need to create one to complete the registration process.

Please upload your proof of AZ residency documentation during the online registration process or provide a hard copy to the school office.

AASA State Testing - thru April 10th

Our Arizona State Assessment Testing has been taking place this week, and we are pleased to share that over 90% of our students have already completed their assessments. This is a strong start; however, our goal is to reach at least 95% participation. We appreciate your continued support in helping us achieve this.

Testing will continue next week on April 7th and 8th. Any student who has missed an assessment will have the opportunity to make up their test through April 23rd.

We greatly appreciate your support in ensuring your student is in attendance and arrives to school on time. Encouraging words, a good night’s sleep, and a healthy breakfast each morning can make a meaningful difference in helping your child feel prepared and focused.

We also kindly request that classroom interruptions be kept to a minimum before 10:00 a.m., so students can fully concentrate during testing.

Thank you for your continued support and for partnering with us to help our students succeed.

Testing Schedule:

  • April 7–8: All students will take the AASA Math Test, followed by make-up testing as needed.
  • April 9–10: Make-up days for any missed assessments.
  • April 13-23: Make-up days for any assessments not made up by April 10th.

Thunderbolt Family Picnic

💜 Purple Up for Military Kids | April 2026 💜

April is the Month of the Military Child, a time to recognize and celebrate the strength, resilience, and sacrifices of military-connected children.

Communities across the country will observe Purple Up Day on various dates in April. While April 15th is the most commonly recognized national day, some organizations observe it on different dates. No matter the day, the message remains the same: wear purple to show support for military youth.

The color purple represents the unity of all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces, blending the colors of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard.

Our school is hosting a family BBQ on April 15th. Families are welcome to attend. Local Marine Corp. League members will be on campus to present the color guard and the folding of the flag ceremony in honor of our distinguished military personnel.

We encourage students, staff, and families to wear purple, participate in school activities, and join us in recognizing the incredible military children in our community.

Please RSVP and pay in advance by April 10th in our front office. The cost is $5.00 per family member (If a student receives free lunch, he/she will not be charged for their meal). We'd love to see a great turnout.
