Creative Arts Night
Creative Arts night was held on April 10 and featured a concert presented by fourth and fifth graders and an art show. Fourth and fifth grade students performed jazz and blues selections on recorder and featured improvisational soloists Sophia S, Lynnleigh H, Weston S, Sydney M, and Alyssa R. The art show featured art work from each student in the school.
GES Fun Run
The GES Fun Run was held on Friday, April 11. While the weather was a bit uncooperative, students still completed the fun run in the gym with the support of teachers, parent volunteers, and student volunteers from Abingdon High School. Students collected donations to run which totaled $3,000! This money will be used to support the costs for field day and to purchase much needed equipment for P.E. classes. Thank you so much to our generous donors!
