Memorial Day Message
Dear Anthony Community,
As we observe Memorial Day, we take time to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. Their courage, dedication, and selflessness will never be forgotten, and we are deeply grateful for the freedoms their service has helped protect.
Memorial Day also reminds us of the importance of coming together with family, friends, and community to reflect with gratitude and appreciation.
On behalf of the Anthony staff, we wish all of our families a safe, restful, and meaningful holiday weekend. See everyone back at school on Thursday, May 28.
Sincerely,
Principal Vue
Thank you Anthony Families!
Wow — we truly feel the love and support from our Anthony families and community. Whether it was a note of encouragement, a sweet treat, volunteering at events, or donating items for classrooms, every act of kindness has meant so much to us. No gesture is ever too small, and we are incredibly grateful for your continued generosity and dedication to the Anthony community. Thank you for all that you do to support our students and staff.
Family Day Fun!

6th Grade Math News
As sixth graders wrapped up Unit 7 in math, students explored the world of statistical thinking by analyzing data distributions and learning how mathematicians interpret information. Throughout the unit, students practiced organizing, and displaying data using dot plots, histograms, and box plots. They also compared measures of center, including mean, and median, while examining variability through range and interquartile range. Students strengthened their ability to identify patterns, describe clusters and gaps, and make conclusions based on real-world data sets.
These skills help students become stronger critical thinkers and prepare them for future math learning. The unit concludes with students applying their knowledge to solve problems, justify their reasoning, and explain how statistics can be used to better understand information in everyday life.

Health Office End Of Year Notice
Please read this if your student has medication at school. We will send your student's emergency medication (Epipens, Inhalers and Glucagon) home in their backpack after their end of year field trips unless you contact us stating that you want to make other arrangements. Per MPS policy, we can't keep medications at school over the summer and any that are not picked up by 4pm 6/10 will be disposed of. MN state law allows schools to send only the previously mentioned emergency meds home with a student. Other meds must be picked up by a parent/guardian. Please stop by the health office before 4pm on 6/10 to pick up these medications.
To prepare for next fall, please get new meds orders, asthma action plans and anaphylaxis action plans and have a parent/guardian sign it. Here is a link to the medication authorization form: Authorization for Admin. of Meds (Hmong, Somali, Spanish)
The health office at Anthony will be closed after 6/10 until 8/15. Please feel free to reach out if you have questions.
Have a healthy and happy summer!

Please follow this link to understand the detailed attendance plan. Attendance: How To Document
If your student is leaving early, fill out the google form or write a note, tell your student to come to the Main Office before school and we will issue a green pass. When it is time for your student to leave, they are allowed to sign themselves out and meet you outside.
If your student is coming late, you can drop them at Door 1 and we will buzz them in. They will sign themselves in and we will issue them a pink pass to get into class. A guardian will not need to come into the school to sign the student in. A guardian will need to send a note or fill out the google form to make the absence excused.
If your student is feeling ill during the school day, they should ask to go to the Health Office so they can be evaluated. The nursing staff will communicate with the student's guardians based on the student's needs.
