Hello everyone, I am so excited to let you know that our donation of just over $900 to the Wounded Warrior Project was matched by USAA Bank, for a total contribution of over $1800! Amazing! I continue to get positive feedback about our Assembly and how honored the Veterans felt.

It was so nice to see so many parents attend our Conference Day. I enjoyed time on Tuesday watching the Veterans Day Parade in Peterborough. When we arrived in the Town House, the SMS band was playing a compilation of military songs. As the band played part of the official song of each military branch, the Veterans in attendance that served in that branch stood. It was a wonderful way to recognize the Veterans.

The rest of our week has been fairly quiet, as we continue to work on moving students forward in their learning. Friday morning we enjoyed a chilly walk to school. This is a sweet tradition where students walk from the Dublin General Store to DCS. As a student at DCS myself, I lived next to the General Store and have fond memories of my daily walk to and from school!

I hope you have a wonderful weekend, Nicole
