Kids Play for Autism Acceptance

In honour of World Autism Acceptance Day (April 2nd), kids across Canada are invited to make a difference during the month of April—by doing what they love! Inspired by Laura, a member of our school community and a young advocate who turned her passion for the monkey bars into a powerful fundraiser, Kids Play for Autism Acceptance is a fun and meaningful way for children to support the autism community while playing their favorite sports.

How It Works

  • Visit: https://www.zeffy.com/en-CA/peer-to-peer/kids-play-for-autism--2025
  • Register – Sign up on Zeffy to take part. Registration is free!
  • Play – Choose any sport your child loves—whether it’s soccer, basketball, hockey, swimming, tennis, or even backyard games. The goal is simply to get moving and have fun!
  • Fundraise – Encourage family and friends to donate in support of Autism Canada’s Family Support Program, which provides essential resources to families and individuals across the country.

Lord, make me an instrument of Thy peace; Where there is hatred, let me sow charity; Where there is injury, pardon; Where there is error, the truth; Where there is doubt, the faith; Where there is despair, hope; Where there is darkness, light; and Where there is sadness, joy. O, Divine Master, Grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled, as to console; To be understood as to understand; To be loved as to love; For it is in giving that we receive; It is in pardoning that we are pardoned; And it is in dying to ourselves that we are born to eternal life. Amen.
