IP50 Last Rehearsals - C U MONDAY!

Parent/Family Update, May 19, 2026

• All performers are expected to attend these last rehearsals. Notify IP by Friday of any conflicts by completing the Absence Form. We need to know.
• Please note that if you must miss rehearsal, your role may be changed in dance scenes. Safety first.
• Memorial Day Merienda/Food hosted by H-L and M-Z Families/Makeup Day. If you missed your last merienda duty, bring food on Monday.
• LAST CALL for IP Documentary interviews! Record your own video and submit by Wed. (Scroll down for info.)

Parents, if you are working the show you can use the code IPCREW for a free ticket, but if you plan to be in a seat for the entire show you can use the code IPPARENT for $10 off.

10:00am Rizal Tinikling Rehearsal, Lower Hall

11:00am

• AV Crew, Metaxas Hall to clear and tape out stage, set up sound, sound check

• Costume Fitting for Singkil, Tinikling & Kalipay, Classroom Area, Details and arrival times for classes TBA.

12:00pm

• Bonifacio Tinikling Rehearsal, Lower Hall

• Stage Crew, Metaxas Hall for preset (costumes, props, sound)

1:00pm CALL TIME: FULL CAST

5:00pm

• Rondalla Ensemble

• Bonifacio and Sampaguita Tinikling Rehearsal

Stage will be installed during the day. Bring your own snacks. We can order food if folks are hungry.

6:00pm to 9:00pm

• Tinikling and Singkil Dance Rehearsal - time to be confirmed

• Set-up of stage/lights/sound

• Production crew only - pre tech rehearsal prep/tasks

• Costumes to be set up

• Concessions & Lobby team to set up booths, including sari-sari store, merch, and ticket table.

• Any other groups who need to practice/rehearse should consult with Myra (scheduling)

• 10:00am: Crew Call: Stage Management (SM) team, lights/sound folx, Tita Meesh
• 11:00am: All actors called to start Q2Q (no costumes, props, makeup)
• 12:30-1:00 pm: Lunch (everyone)
• 1:00 pm: Continue Q2Q until finished
• 3:00-4:00pm: preset props, ready costumes, tune and preset instruments, bamboo poles, do makeup and hair if necessary, etc.
• 4:00-7:00 pm: Full Dress Rehearsal (including sound, lights, music, costumes, everything)
• 7pm Final thoughts, notes if needed. End of day.

12:15 Church available to IP (for any team doing early setup, except in Righellis Hall)

1:00 Anticipated Call Time for Cast, Musicians, and Crea

I hope you're all having a good week and are looking forward to the anniversary show!

I've hopefully attached everyone remaining that was interested in sharing their stories about IP, but if you think I've missed people feel free to share this!

As I'm going through the editing process, I need all interviews in by midnight this Wednesday, the 20th.

Most interviews should take less than 15 minutes total, but in reality are as long or as short as you want (almost all sections so far have been answered in under five minutes.)

Since I know everyone's busy, it would be really helpful if y'all could record yourselves answering the questions (or meet up with a friend/family member and interview each other!) and upload it to the file here [https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1ovNSf8ZBSf5-y4J8Iv2CHy1_C93C2GZZ] labeled "Interviews: Upload All Here!".

Instructions for uploading videos: (it's not so difficult, I promise!)

1. You can watch other interviews for examples, but ideally the camera would be set so you can see your torso-up and centered.
2. When you start a new section of questions (under a new heading/topic), please start a new recording.
3. At the beginning of EVERY recording, please restate your name, since they won't necessarily be used in order!
4. At the end of the questions that are for everyone ("All"), you're welcome to add on anything else you'd like to mention or a message for the IP community.
5. If you'd like to talk about your experience with a special event or program with IP (Lowell, graduation, caroling, palaro, ect.) that isn't listed, you're welcome to talk about it as its own video file, just please clearly state what you're talking about at the beginning!
6. Please double check that you can be clearly heard before uploading.
7. TO SUBMIT: a. Click the link above, b. select "Interviews: Upload All Here!", c. click the big blue + button on the bottom right and then "Upload", d. select your video files, e. press submit on the top right corner, and f. press upload. Then just wait to make sure they go through!
8. PLEASE sign the media release form. It is attached below, and you can either email it back to me or upload it to the Google drive folder for consent forms. We need this signed and returned to be able to use your videos.

If you are very adverse to talking to a blank camera and don't have someone else you'd like to talk to, I have time blocked out tonight and Wednesday evening/night where either I can step away from editing to talk to you or I can find someone else to interview you over zoom.
