Summer school for CISD students will begin June 10th and end on June 27th. Registration is Wednesday, June 5th from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Endeavor students who wish to attend must have a Summer School Course Recommendation Form to register. Forms will be available Monday, June 3rd through Wednesday, June 5th at Endeavor from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM.
Summer school hours are 8:00 AM - 11:30 AM and 11:30 AM - 2:30 PM. Cost for Original Credit classes are $150. Accelerated Credit Recovery Classes are no charge. Students who are absent more than one day will be withdrawn.
During the summer, all parents of continuing students will recieve a letter that summarizes their child's academic progress this past school year at Endeavor. As spoken during our intial meeting, Endeavor is a campus for students who want to help themselves. Students are given an opportunity to regain lost credits and/or get ahead of their original graduating class. Many students were denied the opportunity to attend Endeavor this year due to increased enrollment. There are a number of students who are waiting to come to Endeavor next year.
Students who were chronically absent or did not work effectively to earn credit will be reassigned to Channelview High School for the 2024 -2025 school year. Your child's school assignment for next year will be indicated in the summer letter along with their summary.
